Man shot multiple times in the face, critically injured in West Philly shooting — Collegeville Health news

A man is listed in critical condition after he was found on a West Philly roadway, near a bullet-riddled SUV, after he had been shot multiple times in the face, police said. According to police, officers discovered the injured man when they responded to a report of a parson with a gun on the 500 block of South Salford Street in the Cobbs Creek section of West Philadelphia at about 11:35 p.m. on Friday night. At that time, the officers found a 22-year-old man who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the face. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition. Police said, at the scene, officers also located a 2026 black Cadillac Escalade that had multiple bullet holes throughout. No arrests were immediately reported, but investigators recovered two firearms at the scene. Officials also did not provide additional details on a suspected shooter in this case but police said an investigation was ongoing.
